As a college student, I have been an editor of multiple publications on campus. This has built my character by giving me responsibilities I need to fulfill weekly. My duties include assigning articles to writers and keeping them on deadline to make sure the magazine can print on time. If I don't do my job properly, I risk the magazine faltering, letting down everyone else on staff and our audience. A challenge I face is making sure other writers and editors around me are compliant with completing their work. Working in this editorial role has built my identity because it gives me something to believe in and work toward for the better good of our campus.
