I love food and I enjoy cooking (when I have the energy). I love trying dishes froom an array of cultures and seeing how the blend with my own. My last meal would be a celebration my culture. I would have my favorite soul food dishes with no cut corners. That would include: macaroni and cheese (the baked kind -- no boxed food), sweet potatoes with cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar, collard greens with turkey sausage, cornbread, and barbecued chicken or brisket. The barbecue isn't necessarily soul food but I love BBQ in general and my family is from Texas which has the best barbecue in the country, hands down!
